Jonathan Martin is an accomplished scholar, entrepreneur, advocate for financial inclusion, a former professional football player, and a champion for his community.

An Accomplished Scholar
Jonathan Martin holds a Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A. ’25) from The Wharton School, a Masters in Real Estate and Finance (M.P.S. ’22) from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. ’12) from Stanford University. At Wharton, he majored in entrepreneurship and innovation, with a keen interest in macroeconomics and emerging currencies like Bitcoin.


Jonathan’s Football Career
Jonathan Martin played Division 1 college football at Stanford University, where he twice earned All-American and 1st Team All Conference honors. He was also a finalist for the Lombardi Award, and served as left tackle on the 2010 Orange Bowl team and 2011 Fiesta Bowl team. Jonathan was drafted in the second round by the Miami Dolphins and played in the NFL for three years. He started 32 games and played in 36 for the Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers.
His Work With the CLF
Given his lifelong love of the game of football, Jonathan supports research aimed at improving the safety of the sport. Jonathan works with the Concussion Legacy Foundation to advocate for player safety, aid in research and honor the memory of two teammates who experienced CTE. Jonathan knows firsthand the physical and emotional rigors of performing at the highest level and seeks to help others enjoy the sport they love in a safe and supportive way.
